Looking for a Senior Legal & Operations Officer who will play a key role in managing the legal and operational backbone of the venture studio and portfolio companies.
This role is perfect for someone who loves fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex legal and operational challenges, and wants to be at the forefront of venture-building and startup acceleration. As part of our tight-knit team, you’ll help navigate the legal landscapes of multiple jurisdictions, support our startups with expert advice, and ensure smooth operational execution across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Oversight
Manage legal operations across various jurisdictions, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and contract structuring.
Provide hands-on legal support for investments, partnerships, and corporate governance.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team and portfolio startups on legal matters.
Operational Excellence
Oversee corporate structuring, company formations, and administrative workflows.
Streamline business operations for both the studio and its portfolio companies.
Assist in scaling operational processes and frameworks for growth.
Financial & Compliance Coordination
Work closely with accounting teams to prepare financial reports and tax filings.
Ensure smooth handling of primary accounting documentation and compliance with local regulations.
Optimize internal legal and operational workflows.
Strategic Advisory & Support for Portfolio Startups
Act as a consultant and problem-solver for legal and operational challenges faced by our startups.
Provide M&A, investment, and regulatory guidance where needed.
Stay ahead of legal trends and emerging regulations in tech, venture capital, and corporate law.
Requirements:
Education & Experience
Legal degree and strong understanding of corporate, venture, and IT law.
5+ years of experience in legal counsel, operations management, or a related field.
Background in IT, venture capital, consulting, or startups is a major plus.
Skills & Attributes
Fluent English (C1) & Polish (B1 )— comfortable handling legal and operational documentation in both languages.
Strong problem-solving mindset — able to tackle legal and operational challenges with precision.
Hands-on and adaptable — excels in both routine legal work and high-stakes strategic decisions.
